Liverpool are back on top of the Premier League. Chelsea lost their first home game in four years and it just shows how vital the top of the table clashes are going to be, six pointers they call them. Well let’s see if Liverpool can keep it up, it should make for a fascinating title chase.
Harry Rednapp takes over at Spurs and they win their first game
2-0 against Bolton. Last night Joe Kinnear and Newcastle got a 2-1 win against WBA, perhaps it’s not all over for these two sides but it will be a tough struggle. Rednapp has a better squad to work with and perhaps a more settled club, only time will tell.
Man City and Aston Villa had excellent wins and also new stars Hull, these three clubs look like keeping the pressure on the top four and matches amongst these clubs will also have a big impact on league positions.
Tonight there are another nine games and playing conditions are going to be very chilly, this might throw up a surprise or two. |
