What a result! Arsenal turned current form on its head and put paid to Man Utd’s recent surge up the table. It would appear that, if Arsenal were to get all its players fit and utilize some of their amazing youngsters, they would be chasing Liverpool and Chelsea all the way.
Tottenham are also on an amazing surge, if they continue with the results they are getting they could end up high enough to qualify for a European Cup position.
The bottom ten clubs are now very tightly packed and the relegation battle is well and truly on.
Finally there are many rumours in the press about how much Middle Eastern money is being lined up for the Premiership. With the recession now biting and the football league clubs reported to owe the Inland Revenue £50m in taxes it will be a very interesting three months in the life of the Premiership and football in general.
