Week 5 Premier News

After last week’s internationals it’s back to the Premier league.
The top teams, Man Utd and Liverpool, provided an interesting result in so far as now Chelsea and Liverpool are at the head of the table and Man Utd. are lingering in the bottom half. Another loss for United will surely make their season a lot tougher than they could have thought five weeks ago. Indeed Arsenal look to be the biggest threat in the league at the moment and the head to head clashes of the big four will be make or break for whoever wants to win the title.
Away from the top it’s much as we thought, any win will be pure gold, draws acceptable but losses potentially fatal.
Spurs have had a terrible start and are propping up the table. As predicted Newcastle are up for sale and without a manager. It looks like the team from the North East may soon become the team from the Middle East with a European manager!
Looking forward to this weekend’s games, it looks as though Chelsea versus Man Utd. could be a season defining match. Spurs need to get a win under their belt or face a struggle to get out of the bottom three.
